Hang On In There

These are turbulent times right now and we all have trials and tribulations. Some of y’all might feel like you have nowhere to turn…that you’ve run out of options…desperation and hopelessness may be creeping in on you. I’m asking you to hang on in there a little while longer. Somebody somewhere is counting on you to show up somewhere…wants to hear your voice or see your face. You might not even realize it, but somebody is following your lead. When you feel overwhelmed, HOLLA! Scream! Cry out! But REACH out! If you ain’t got nobody to talk to but your God…TELL them! Call somebody! Anybody! Even a wrong number is better than nothing. Hell, contact me if you need to. At the very least I’ll make you laugh or we can cry together. I’m gonna be mad that you made me cry, but I’ll cry with you anyway. We can be overwhelmed and hang on in there together. But whatever you do, I need YOU to hang on in there a little while longer…because I KNOW from experience that this too shall pass and things will get better. Might not seem like it today or even tomorrow, but I promise you it will get better. My Nannie used to say that “God didn’t put nothing here that he didn’t put something here for” and I believe that…and I want you to believe it too. But, you’ve gotta hang on in there a little while longer to see it. #SugaSpeaks
